Volunteers fill the 230 backpacks full of all the basic supplies needed to begin the school year.

All of the backpacks also included a note from the church to all the children along with an activity book detailing the gospel story by colors.

All of the children who registered received a lanyard and namebadge as they checked in before the service began.

Before the children came up on stage to receive their backpack, they were first treated to a service filled with games, door prizes, and the simple message of God's love for them.

Several of the children participate in games during the service.

A multitude of the children came to the altar at the end of the service and had prayer.

Lots of eager hands went up to try and catch the t-shirts being thrown into the crowd.

The children were anxious to come onstage and receive their backpack full of supplies.  Some of the younger kids were almost outweighed by the full bags.

There were smiles all around!
