Door Greeters
An old saying states that if you see someone without a smile, to give them one of your own. If you ever find yourself arriving for service at Adamsville, the greeters will be sure and do just that. We all have a calling on our life, and for these men and women it's a calling to be as friendly as possible, which comes naturally to them. Regular members can always look forward to arriving for church and being greeted by a warm friendly face that's been welcoming them inside the church for years. Newcomers can rest assured that they will be well taken care of as they are greeted and directed to where they'd like to go.
Bro. Elmer Parnell and Bro. Terrell Wiley have been greeting people at the front doors of Adamsville and welcoming them into Sunday School over the last two decades. They are a fixure of the church and are faithful in their service of welcoming new and regular attenders alike. Of course, besides these two fine men there is a wonderful group of men and women who volunteer to spread their friendliness as people come in for worship service.
The door greeters of the church are a shining example that everyone can be of service in the church and for the kingdom. We invite you to come in and be greeted and welcomed with open arms. Take a church bulletin and find your place as we "enter into His gates with thanksgiving" and "enter into His courts with praise"!
